Requirements

  • International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification
  • Experience working as a Senior Health Educator in public health
  • Knowledge of WIC program operations and breastfeeding support
  • Ability to manage complex breastfeeding challenges in maternal-infant dyads
  • Familiarity with lactation consulting best practices
  • Proficiency in health education and counseling techniques
  • Commitment to confidentiality and regulatory compliance in sensitive positions
