Pomelo Care

US · Full-time · $65,000 – $75,000

About this role

Pomelo Care is a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians, engineers and problem solvers passionate about improving care for moms and babies. We transform outcomes for pregnant people and babies with evidence-based pregnancy and newborn care at scale. Our technology-driven platform enables early engagement, individualized risk assessments, and personalized virtual care throughout pregnancy and postpartum.

Your North Star: provide compassionate, culturally-relevant, and evidence-based lactation care. We are hiring a skilled lactation provider eager to improve access to high quality care for perinatal patients and infants, with a focus on reducing disparities. In this remote role, lactation care is provided via text, phone, or video calls.

Work closely with the interdisciplinary clinical team to engage patients and deliver quality care at the right time. Report to the Director of Perinatal Nutrition Programs and collaborate on patient-facing content, care workflows, best practice protocols, and connections with in-person providers. Facilitate lactation education and support groups.

Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical operations, product, tech, and business teams to innovate and build the tech-enabled program. We measure success by reductions in preterm births, NICU admissions, c-sections, and maternal mortality. Committed to diverse perspectives reflecting the population served.
