About this role

Pomelo Care is a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians, engineers and problem solvers passionate about improving care for moms and babies. We transform outcomes for pregnant people and babies with evidence-based pregnancy and newborn care at scale. Our technology-driven platform engages patients early and delivers coordinated virtual care throughout pregnancy and postpartum.

Your North Star: provide compassionate, culturally-relevant, and evidence-based lactation care. In this remote role, work closely with the interdisciplinary clinical team to engage perinatal patients and provide quality lactation care via text, phone, or video calls. Report to the Director of Perinatal Nutrition Programs.

Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical operations, product, tech, and business teams to innovate and build the tech-enabled program. Develop patient-facing content, improve care workflows, update best practice protocols, and facilitate connections with in-person providers. Focus on reducing disparities for patients eligible for Medicaid, SNAP, or WIC.

We measure success by reductions in preterm births, NICU admissions, c-sections, and maternal mortality. Committed to hiring diverse perspectives to reflect the population served. Enthusiasm for promotion of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all programs.
