About this role
Allina Health is a not-for-profit system caring for individuals, families, and communities in Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Provides psychological services to perinatal clients and families in the clinical setting. Conducts diagnostic evaluation, therapeutic intervention, education, and referral independently and interdependently.
Performs evaluation/assessment and diagnosis, creates team treatment plan utilizing various treatment modalities. Engages family in development of treatment plans and reassesses to recommend changes. Consults with primary care providers for ongoing management of behavioral health needs.
Provides individual, family, and group psychotherapy as identified in treatment plan. Coordinates treatment with other providers and community agencies, completes and reassesses per department policy. Part of robust Mental Health and Addiction Clinical Service Line with 290 clinicians across 45 clinics and 7 hospitals.
Facilitates collaboration between clients and interdisciplinary team to respond to treatment needs. Committed to whole person care, investing in well-being, and enriching career. May provide crisis management and have supervisory role in Adult Mental Health Services Outpatient Clinic.
Requirements
- Doctoral/Ph.D. level advanced degree in Psychology or Counseling
- Master's degree in Social Work
- Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or equivalent licensure
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluation and therapeutic intervention
- Experience performing assessments in perinatal mental health settings
- Knowledge of perinatal behavioral health needs and family support
- 2+ years patient treatment in clinical setting preferred
