About this role

Ohel’s Early Childhood Mental Health Program is seeking a warm, empathic LCSW, LMHC or LCAT. Provide mental health services to pregnant and postpartum women at Ohel’s Early Childhood Treatment Center. Focus on therapy for women diagnosed with perinatal or postpartum mental health disorders.

Assess and diagnose clients while providing mental health treatment. Work individually with clients, dyadically with mother and baby, and within family systems including partners and family members. Deliver services tailored to perinatal mental health needs.

Candidate must have knowledge of maternal mental health and attachment theories. Part-time opportunities available in Far Rockaway and Brooklyn. Join a supportive environment focused on early childhood and maternity care.

Requirements

  • LCSW, LMHC, or LCAT
  • Knowledge of maternal mental health and attachment theories
  • Two years experience in a field related to providing direct treatment
  • Comfortable working individually with clients
  • Comfortable working dyadically with mother and baby
  • Comfortable working within family systems including partners and family members
